Early New Years Eve forecast: Warm, possibly rainy weather to ring in 2023
Though too early to say definitively what Mother Nature has in store for New Years Eve, Massachusetts appears to be headed for a warm and possibly rainy holiday, forecasts nearly a week away say.
After bitterly cold conditions over Christmas weekend, this week will be a bit warmer, the National Weather Service said.
High temperatures in Boston hovered in the upper 20s on Sunday, but Monday and Tuesday could rise to the mid-30s, and Thursday could hit the mid-40s, according to the weather service. AccuWeathers forecast as of Sunday called for a high of 54 degrees on Dec. 31 in Boston.
