Body of 2nd man who died while ice fishing at N.J. reservoir recovered
The body of a second man who died while ice fishing at Split Rock Reservoir in Kinnelon was recovered Sunday by divers after a two day search, authorities said.
A 76-year-old man from Passaic and a 64-year-old man from Clifton traveled to the Morris County borough Friday to fishing at the reservoir and were reported missing Saturday by family members, according to a statement from the Morris County Prosecutors Office.
Kinnelon met family members Saturday at the reservoir where the two men were believed to have last been seen, authorities said. Their personal belongings were found on the shoreline and two holes were in the ice approximately 100 yards from shore.
