Shares of Sonata Software surged 3 percent on June 27 after the company announced its pact with the TUI Group to create a digital hub in India.

At 10:20am, the stock was trading 1.2 percent higher at Rs 1,004.25 on the BSE. It has rallied almost 80 percent year-to-date and close to 500 percent in the past three years.

“Establishing TUI’s digital hub in India is a testament to our shared vision of excellence and will unlock new opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, elevate customer experiences, and achieve sustained business growth for TUI Group,” said Roshan Shetty, Chief Revenue Officer, Sonata Software.

Germany-headquartered TUI Group is one of the leading global tourism groups and offers integrated services from a single source for its 21 million customers across the globe.

Sonata Software provides IT services to travel, retail, agriculture and commodities and manufacturing and software vendors. It offers IT services which forms 26 percent of FY23 revenue, and product licensing and deployment which accounts for 74 percent.

The company is net debt free and has healthy double-digit return ratios.
