GM Battery Plant Offers EV Workers Higher Wages After Solvent Leak

Thursday’s proposed deal comes just one day after a chemical solvent leak at Lordstown, Ohio-based Ultium Cells. If ratified by the UAW, the deal would raise wages an average of 25%, though not to the same level as UAW workers who assemble engines and cars.
