The Sensex was up 634.65 points or 1.01 percent at 63,782.80, and the Nifty closed 190 points or 1.01 percent higher at 19,047.30. About 2,713 shares advanced, 833 declined and 123 remained unchanged.

Suzlon Energy | CMP Rs 32| The stock price rose over 2 percent after the company bagged an order for the development of a 50.4 mw wind power project. The wind power project of the 3 MW product series for the development of 50.4 MW for Juniper Green Energy Private Limited. Suzlon will install 16 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower of their new product with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each.

The AMC reported revenue growth of eight percent at Rs 335 crore. Operating profit grew 5 percent year-on-year to Rs. 181.1 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing on October 26.

The company said it is facing a shortage of its immunosuppressant drug ‘Simulect 20 mg’ in India. According to an exchange filing, the bank’s board approved the allotment of 3,34,00,132 equity shares to HDFC Life Insurance Company, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company, Quant Mutual Fund, Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company.
