Lemon Tree Hotels shares were up 4 percent at Rs 109.65 apiece in the early trade on October 27 after the company signed a licence agreement for a property in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Red Fox Hotel – will feature 50 well-appointed rooms, one restaurant, fitness centre, a conference room and other public areas.

The property is expected to open by FY26 and shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.

“We are delighted to announce the expansion of our portfolio in Andhra Pradesh. This opening will be in addition to our four existing and two upcoming hotels and resorts in the state,” said Mahesh Aiyer, CEO – Carnation Hotels (the management subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels).

Last week, the company announced the acquisition of a new property, the Lemon Tree Hotel in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. The hotel is expected to open by FY25.

In this month, the company had signed a licence agreement for a 72-room property in Uttarakhand and a 55-room property in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Earlier this month, the company announced a franchisee agreement with Artisan Resorts to open a resort in Somnath, Gujarat.
