Wipro shares gain on Swedish job to build IT infra for Stockholm Exergi
Stockholm Exergi provides access to heating, electricity, cooling, and waste management services in the expanding Stockholm region.
Shares of Wipro Ltd traded a percent higher at Rs 399 early on November 28 after the company announced that it has helped Stockholm Exergi AB to build its IT infrastructure to achieve its overall climate transformation targets.
“After a change in ownership, the company had to build a new IT environment, which included migrating its applications and users, implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and modernising its operational technology OT infrastructure,” Wipro said about the Swedish assignment in an exchange filing on November 27.

Wipro collaborated with Stockholm Exergi to help it modernise and effectively manage both its IT and Operational Technology (OT) application environment. The overarching goal of the project was to furnish the company with a more agile IT infrastructure and operational framework.
As per the disclosure, Wipro also extended end-to-end application management and support for the development of business and plant applications.
