Hero MotoCorp surges over 3% on robust November sales

Shares of Hero MotoCorp Limited surged 3.2 percent to Rs 3,880 in early trade on December 4 after the company announced a 26 percent growth in November over the corresponding month of the previous fiscal.
During the month, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer sold over 4.9 lakh units compared to the 3.9 units sold in the same month last year, the company said in an exchange filing on December 1.
At 9:20 am, the stock was trading at Rs 3,820, up 1.6 percent from the previous close on the NSE. In the last one month, the counter has rallied 20 percent, the highest among the 2-wheeler OEMs on the bourses.

Furthermore, the company also recorded its highest-ever festive sales, clocking more than 14 lakh units in retail sales during the 32-day festive period – between the first day of the Navratras and Bhai Dooj – this year.
