Adani shares closed 2-7 percent higher on January 20, with most of the stocks gaining momentum in the last hour of the trading session.

Adani Total Gas closed 6.7 percent higher at Rs 1,049 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), while Adani Green Energy closed 6.85 percent higher at Rs 1678. 3 and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones gained 3.19 percent at Rs 1,190.9.

Adani Wilmar, Adani Enterprises, and Adani Power closed 2.08 percent, 2.48 percent, and 2.76 percent higher, respectively, on the NSE.

Total 62 lakh Adani Total Gas shares were trading on the exchanges as compared to the monthly-traded average of 19 lakh shares. While a total of 9 lakh Adani Green Energy shares were traded on the exchanges compared to the monthly-traded average of 17 lakh shares. A total of 29 lakh Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones shares were traded on the exchanges as compared to the monthly-traded average of 73 lakh shares.

Adani Total Gas shares have lost 73 percent in the last one year, while Adani Green Energy shares have lost 13 percent and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones have gained 54 percent in the same period. Adani Power shares have surged 96 percent in the last one year.
