Two JetBlue planes collide on the ground at Boston airport

Two JetBlue planes collided on the tarmac of Bostons Logan International Airport on Thursday morning, disrupting the travel plans of all of the passengers onboard.

Flight 777s left winglet struck the right horizontal stabilizer of Flight 551 at around 6:40 a.m. while on the deicing pad, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

No injuries were reported.

One passenger, Dave Souter, was headed to Las Vegas to work at an event for the Super Bowl when the incident happened after they pulled away from the gate, hetold Boston 25 News.

The other plane was headed to Orlando, Fl.

They are quickly getting a new plane for the passengers destined for Orlando.

Both planes will be taken out of service for repairs, a JetBlue spokesperson told The Post.

Safety is JetBlues priority, and we will work to determine how and why this incident occurred, he added.
