Godrej Properties shares zoomed 5 percent in the morning trade on April 5 after the real estate major announced that it sold homes worth over Rs 3,000 crore in Gurugram.

Godrej Properties sold over 1,050 homes, worth more than Rs 3,000 crore, in three days in the Godrej Zenith project in Sector 89 of Gurugram. This is Godrej Properties’ most successful ever launch in terms of the value and volume of sales achieved, the company said.

At 10.20 am, Godrej Properties was quoting at Rs 2,608.35 on the National Stock Exchange, up 4.2 percent from the previous session’s closing price.

Godrej Zenith is the realty player’s largest residential development in Gurugram. The company has recorded a 473 percent on-year increase in sales in Gurugram in FY24 and has a strong launch pipeline for FY25, which includes new project in Sectors 103, 54 and 43.

“These planned launches will significantly strengthen GPL’s presence in the city,” said Godrej Properties in an exchange filing. This is the second time in Gurugram, and the fourth time pan India, that the firm recorded sales of over Rs 2,000 crore during a launch in FY24.

Godrej Properties sold inventory worth Rs 2,690 crore in Godrej Reserve in Kandivali, Mumbai in Q4FY24, offloaded inventory worth over Rs 2,875 crore in Godrej Aristocrat and achieved sales worth over Rs 2,000 crore in its project, Godrej Tropical Isle in Noida in Q2 FY24.
