Marshall Wace Investment Strategies Eureka Fund picked up 40.89 lakh shares at Rs 753.75 per share in Paytm’s parent, One 97 Communications, while BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 42.15 lakh shares in the company at the same price. The transaction by Marshall Wace stood at Rs 308.23 crore.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage fund additionally bought 3,715 shares in Paytm at an average price of Rs 761.52.

Around 34 lakh shares changed hands in D B Realty during the trading session on January 25. Trinity Opportunity Fund sold a 0.69 percent stake at an average price of Rs 253.05 while Griffin Growth Fund VCC bought the shares. The total value of the transaction is Rs 88.13 crore.

In Indiabulls Housing Finance, Plutus Wealth Management bought 50 lakh shares or 1.02 percent stake at Rs 195.74 per equity share. Plutus bought Rs 97.87 crore worth of shares in the company. Surbhi Investments and Trading Company sold 43.72 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 195.88, selling Rs 85.65 crore worth of stake in the company.
Marshall Wace was also active in other counters as it bought 1.88 crore shares in Bandhan Bank at Rs 224.4 per share while BNP Paribas Arbitrage fund sold 1.93 crore shares at the same price. Marshall Wace bought Rs 422.62 crore worth of stake in the company.

In Manappuram Finance, Marshall Wace picked up 51.27 lakh shares at Rs 174.55 while Societe Generale offloaded 52.72 lakh shares at the same price. Around 0.61 percent stake in the company exchanged hands.

In PNB Housing Finance, 2.56 crore shares exchanged hands at Rs 821 per share. Asia Opportunities V (Mauritius) fund was the buyer while Investment Opportunities V sold the shares. The value of the stake sale is Rs 2105.86 crore. Investment Opportunities V held a 9.88 percent stake in the company as of December 2023.

BNP Paribas also sold 30.41 lakh shares in Shiram Finance at an average price of Rs 2302.45  BNP offloaded Rs 700 crore worth of shares in the market.
