Bulk deals: HDFC Mutual Fund buys Rs 91 crore stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries

HDFC Mutual Fund bought Rs 91.26 crore worth of shares in Sudarshan Chemical Industries

According to bulk deal data from the exchanges, HDFC Mutual Fund on February 15 acquired 17,75,551 shares in Sudarshan Chemical Industries at an average price of Rs 513.99. HDFC Mutual Fund bought Rs 91.26 crore worth of shares in the company.

Promoters of Sudarshan Chemical Industries, Nisha Ajay Rathi and Ajay Balkrishna Rathi sold shares in the market. Nisha sold her entire stake of 400,404 shares at an average price of Rs 514, while Ajay sold 1,400,000 shares at an average price of Rs 514.18. He held a 3 percent stake in the company as of December 2023 and offloaded a 2.02 percent stake in today’s trading session.

BofA Securities Europe SA bought 2,20,800 shares in Alpex Solar, which got listed on the bourses today at Rs 337.47 per share. BofA bought Rs 7.45 crore worth of shares in the company.

Meanwhile, in other notable bulk deals for the day, the Carlyle Group sold Rs 1,056 crore worth of equity stake in Yes Bank through open market transactions in BSE.

Carlyle Group through CA Basque Investments sold 390,000,000 shares or 1.35 percent stake at an average price of Rs 27.10. Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) PTE was the buyer as it picked up 306,305,668 shares at the same price, buying Rs 830.08 crore worth of shares.

On the other hand, promoter Finsider International company offloaded 65,518,600 shares or a 1.76 percent stake at Rs 265.14 per share. Finsider sold Rs 1,737.16 crore worth of stake in the company. Finsider held a 4.40 percent stake in the company til December 2023.
