Person seriously injured, 5 others shot near Worcester warehouse
A shooting near a warehouse in Worcester early Saturday left one person seriously injured and several more wounded as well, according to police.
Law enforcement were dispatched to the warehouse at 88 Webster St. for a report of a person shot. Worcester police officers entered the building and found the male shooting victim with serious injuries. Shortly after officers arrived at the warehouse, they found what authorities described as an after-hours gathering and also became aware of five more people who were shot. Police located the shooting victims at various locations near the warehouse and at area hospitals. They were given medical treatment, and detectives arrived to process the crime scene, the Worcester Police Department said in a statement.

Authorities did not immediately disclose to the public how many people were shot nor the circumstances behind the shooting.
