Coal India | CMP: Rs 343.75 | Shares of state-run miner surged nearly 4% and made a fresh all-time high after Jefferies India and other brokerages upgraded the stock on the back of better-than-expected September quarter earnings.

Eicher Motors | CMP: Rs 3,675 | Shares rose 2.6% after the auto major reported a highest-ever net profit of Rs 1,016 crore, a robust growth of 55 percent on-year.

NTPC | CMP: Rs 250.6 | Shares gained 2%, hitting an intra-day high of Rs 250.60.

Power Grid Corporation of India | CMP: Rs 213.75 | Shares rose 0.83%. The stock made a fresh 52-week high at Rs 215.10.

Hindalco | CMP: Rs 486.35 | Shares rose 0.81%. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 492.35.

SBI Life Insurance | CMP: Rs 1,338.55 | Shares tanked 1.49%. The stock hit an intraday low of Rs 1,329.75.
