Wipro launches compliance solution in ties with Amazon Web Service; shares gain

Shares of Wipro gained 1 percent in the morning trade on November 29. The IT services company launched a continuous compliance solution built on Amazon Security Lake in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This solution is designed to equip enterprises with advanced capabilities to meet compliance requirements.

As of 9.20am, shares of Wipro were trading at Rs 400.75 on the NSE, higher by 0.96 percent from the previous session’s close.

Amazon Security Lake consolidates security data from various sources, including AWS environments, SaaS providers, on-premises setups, and cloud sources, into a specialised data lake automatically.

Wipro’s solution will help businesses stay compliant in a changing regulatory environment by offering continuous insight into compliance status and overseeing business applications throughout the entire cloud migration process.

On November 28, the company announced that it has helped Stockholm Exergi AB to build its IT infrastructure to achieve its overall climate transformation targets. Wipro collaborated with Stockholm Exergi to help it modernise and effectively manage both its IT and Operational Technology (OT) application environment. The overarching goal of the project was to furnish the company with a more agile IT infrastructure and operational framework.

The Wipro stock has seen a tumultuous and volatile year of trade, rising around one percent as compared to the frontline benchmark, Nifty 50, that has risen over nine percent in comparison.
