HAL surges 7% ahead of 2-day Avionics Expo-2023
HAL stock has risen 116 percent so far in 2023, doubling investors’ money.
Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), the maker of the twin seater lights combat aircraft Tejas, were trading over 7 percent higher on December 6 afternoon, a day ahead of the two-day HAL Avionics Expo-2023 in New Delhi.
The public sector aerospace and defence company will demonstrate stride made in achieving self-reliance in avionics to its stakeholders, including the Indian armed forces, at the two-day event.
At 12.05 pm, HAL shares were trading at Rs 2,744.00 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), 7.4 percent higher form the previous close. The stock has risen 116 percent in 2023, doubling investors’ money.
HAL would serve as a hub for professionals, industry leaders and stakeholders from the aviation sector and they would have networking opportunities to establish meaningful connections, foster collaborations and explore potential business partnerships, HAL’s director (Engineering and R&D) DK Sunil said on December 5.

The expo would unveil a comprehensive range of avionics products designed and developed by HAL. Attendees would also get to see avionics systems, including the advanced flight control systems, communication systems and navigation systems, deployed in various aircraft platforms, the Bengaluru-headquartered company said in a statement.
The event would include live demonstrations to experience the capabilities of avionics products and systems first hand, the company has said.

Panel discussions would showcase insights from Indian armed forces, HAL, partner organisations, and academia, covering diverse topics like avionics trends, system integration challenges, and the future of aviation electronics.
